BASIS Scottsdale Primary East logo (bug)

Located on the northwest corner of  Via Linda and 136th St., BASIS Scottsdale Primary East Campus offers its community an academically accelerated education in kindergarten through fourth grade. Our campus is affiliated with BASIS Scottsdale (5-12) a nationally ranked public high school.

Our beautiful campus opened in 2015 and serves around 625 students from a multitude of diverse backgrounds. The BASIS Scottsdale Primary East Campus Bullpups proudly represent their community in the BASIS Curriculum Schools network.

School Highlights

  • 100 percent of our students participated in the Great American SpellCheck, raising over $13,000 for the school’s Annual Teacher Fund.
  • Our top 16 performing SpellCheck students competed in our school spelling bee.
  • All of our students participated in our first annual BASIS Scottsdale Primary Math-a-thon, raising over $11,000 for the school’s Annual Teacher Fund.
  • We had students who earned first and second place in the Speedy Math Competition conducted by the US Mental Math Foundation.
  • A team of three grade 2 students won the Picasso Award at the FIRST Lego League Competition. Using Legos and robotics, the team showcased the impact of deforestation on the rainforest and its animals.
  • Our chess team placed third at the Cosmic Encounter K-3 U500 Chess Tournament.
  • Our drama teacher was awarded a $5,000 classroom grant from the Fiesta Bowl Wishes for Teachers program.
