BASIS Ahwatukee (bug)

Located in the beautiful Ahwatukee Foothills, BASIS Ahwatukee offers its community an academically accelerated education in fourth grade through twelfth grade.

Our beautiful campus opened in 2013 and serves around 750 students from a multitude of diverse backgrounds. The BASIS Ahwatukee Mustangs proudly represent their community in the BASIS Curriculum Schools network.

2017 School Highlights

  • Our 11 2017 seniors earned 51 acceptances to 27 unique colleges and universities.
  • Our High School Vex Robotics team qualified for the state competition and won the VEX Energy Award in the regionals.
  • Our History Bee students are going to the national competition.
  • A student received first place in the “Best of Phoenix Chess Championship.”
  • A grade 8 student was the principal clarinetist at the Arizona All State Band Festival and a grade 11 student was selected for All-State Orchestra.
  • A grade 5 student qualified to compete in the state level competition of the National Geographic Bee.
  • A student scored in the top five percent in the nation on the 2016 AMC 8.
